Jo Anne, a singer/songwriter/guitarist, has been the opening act for such illustrious stars as Lee Greenwood, Billy Preston and Hoyt Axton. Her low-honeyed alto voice has garnered her several awards, including a Silver Mike Award for Best Radio Commercial and Nashville's Music Row Magazine Discovery Award for her debut album Hometown Beauty Queen. Her second CD, 500 Miles, is a tribute to the songwriters of the 60's and 70's, the beloved folk songs she has performed over the years. She enjoyed a four year run at the prestigious Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach, CA, as well as performing in other major hotels, restaurants, stadiums, coffeehouses, houses of worship and private parties.
A former Miss Los Angeles County and 2nd runner-up to Miss California, Jo Anne has toured Southeast Asia with her country band and charted in The Top Ten of the Top 100 Country Hits Europewide. Her songs have been placed in television and film. Ever the chameleon, Jo Anne sang back-up vocals for rock legend Iron Butterfly in their 20 Years Later After Woodstock concert and currently is a commercial actress highlighted in Home Depot, Geico, Walgreens, Verizon and more.
